February 15th is Flag Day.  Let’s celebrate 60 years of the Maple Leaf.

This photo is of our Thornton Store in 1966 where Gordon Burke Upholstery began sewing the Maple Leaf to people looking for a high quality all sewn flag.  This changed his business from upholstery to the family flag making business we are today.
