The Original Flag Store Celebrates it’s 15 Year Anniversary! Staff enjoyed a nice lunch and gifts while exchanging flags stories over the years. (In the lovely pink sweater and blue scarf is Beth Burke the founder of Flags Unlimited in 1965, which became The Original Flag Store in 1998). Behind Beth is Cecilia Burke, President & CEO of The Orignal Flag Store and beside Cecilia is Paul Burke her brother who is also a co-founder. We are now into our third generation of flag making. The Original Flag Store recently completed installation of Christmas Tree lights in downtown Toronto at University & Richmond. Unfortunately this picture does not do the beauty of these trees justice. It’s definitely worth a trip downtown to see as it’s sure to get you in the festive spirit!
We welcomed our local MPP Rodney Jackson here at our Barrie Head Office and Factory last week. Owner Cecilia Burke gave him a tour show casing a Canadian owned and operated company in action!
