The Story Of A Man, His Family And The Canadian Flag
Hi friends and family,I’m not sure how many of you know or remember that in 1985 Stuart McLean introduced himself to me at our Flag Store in Thornton. At that time my Father had recently passed away and the eight children were running the company in our early twenties. 70 employees at the time. Meeting Stuart changed our lives. Coincidentally, and 25 years later my daughter, Michelle, worked with Stuart’s Music Director, John Sheard, and he asked her and two of her friends to form The Vinylettes, going on tour for two years with Stuart. I am extremely fortunate to have had an electronic version of that interview with me on my phone (or anywhere at all!). It’s 16 mins or so. I thought you might enjoy hearing it knowing my gratitude and love and prayers for Stuart McLean.
